Hate and crime

Discuss the nature and extent of hate crime.  Include McDevitt and Lvein’s three motivations for hate crime and the factors known to produce hate crime.  Does bullying count as a hate crime?  Have you ever bullied, been bullied or witnessed bullying before? What happened?  Why do you think bullying is such a phenomenon for kids today?
