Expectations of healthcare providers

What duty does the clinician have to continue working as the threat continues to grow? Please post a minimum 250-word response explaining your thoughts on the circumstances under which you think a healthcare worker is obligated to stay and serve at risk to their own health

Are there limits that need to put in place regarding the expectations that society has of their healthcare providers?

Thesis document

Using Dr. Deng’s “Crafting an Effective Thesis” document as a guide, create two theses based on one or more
our readings for this week (Madame Bovary, “The Kugelmass Episode,” or “Porphyria’s Lover”). Your theses,
based on Dr. Deng’s outline, should be arguable, complex, original, and meaningful. You should also be able to
draw on the skills you’ve developed in our previous discussion activities. Your theses can be on the same text
or two different texts. Think of this activity as a practice run for your Paper 1 thesis. Your post might not reach
200 words and that’s okay.

Assessment Analysis

When teachers design instruction, they often begin by looking at student assessment results. You will begin
this week by analyzing student assessment results for a third grade class. You will determine what math
content standards were selected for the assessment. You will unpack the standard in order to identify the
specific skills that are in this assessment. Once you have identified the standard and skills you will graph
students’ performance based on the identified skills. You will then analyze student assessment data for the
whole group and three focus students. In Week 3 you will use these assessment results to design instruction
for this group of students using the Learning Map. *This assignment is similar to what you will do in CALTPA
Cycle 2 designing instruction based on assessment results.
Your paper will have three parts:
Part 1: Graph to illustrate the data and results by skill within the content standard. The graph should organize
results by content standard for the entire group of students (please reference the Common Core Mathematics
Companion text).
Part 2: Analysis of the assessments (whole group):
What are the misconceptions?
What do they know?
What additional information might you need in regards to assessing math?
What questions would you need to ask to determine if they are developmentally ready (consider the CRA
model)?
What are the potential barriers to their learning?
What are limitations of the assessment measure?

  1. Analysis of three students to focus on individual student data (student with special needs, English Language
    Learner, student needs social-emotional support)
