Introduction and Search History

Write an introduction to the partial literature review. This sets the stage for the reader to understand why your issue is of concern. It informs the reader as to why this issue is a problem and why it should be studied. The search history is a paragraph about how you found the literature you used. A reader should be able to take your basic history and find approximately the same articles.

The introduction will include a description of your search history.

Using APA formatting write 2 pages (excluding the title page), providing introductory and background information about your topic of interest and your search history.
See the rubric (below) for the content that needs to be included in the introduction.
Turn in the following (all bundled in a single file):
Title page
Introduction (remember that APA does not use “Introduction” as a heading level)
Search history (includes library and data bases searched, key words used, number of articles found, number of articles selected, and the reason articles were excluded or included as well as the final number retrieved).
In an outline format, lay out the rest of the literature review. Use short sentences and be clear as well as concise. (Suggested outline format with headings: Integration of Evidence, Theme I, Theme II, Theme III, Critique of Evidence, Gaps in Evidence, Comparison to Your Own Practice, Conclusion.)
Reference list with all works cited in APA format

Nutritional Assessment

For this assignment data was recorded in a period of seven days. It coveres breakfast, lunch and dinner record taken each day as well as the calories consumed. Looking at the recordings, all foods were taken at around the same time every day. For instance, breakfast was taken at 7 O’clock every morning. One ham and cheese sandwich and one Activia yogurt was consumed each morning for breakfast. However, food taken for lunch and dinners each day varied.

Biochemistry of Foods

Looking at this chart I find out that a lot of protein is belong consumed each day. I find out the number of calories is very high in daily diet. From the chart, I see that the amount of cholesterol is also high in the weekly assessment. The total carbohydrates are very low in the morning diet and high in the lunch diet. Calcium and iron nutrients are consistent in the breakfast meal but not consistent in the other meals. They seem to vary significantly depending on the kind of meal consumed for lunch and dinner.

The foods consumed produce sugars, proteins, vitamins, fats and carbohydrates which are essential for the biochemical reaction in the cellular function and production of energy (Nzeagwu & Uwaegbute, 2011). The foods encompass the necessary nutrients for my body because the dietary guidelines recommend a combination of all sources to maintain a healthy nutrition which is related to controlling weight and protecting the body against diseases.

Clinical implications

The foods that we consume have a lot of effects to our general body development and also to our health (Puntis, 2018). Some of the diets that a person decides to adopt might bring health issues and can be one of the predisposal of various lifestyle diseases. For instance, this diet has several implications that come with it. One, due to the high intake of protein in the diet, I could be in danger of increasing my BMI, which is currently 30, or even a heart attack due to the high cholesterol. This kind of diet could also lead to one suffering from hypertension due to the sugar and fat levels. This could be a very bug clinical implication if no changes are made in the diet.

Dietary implications

Taking in the right diet will help one develop and maintain strong physical health. A well-balanced diet prevents one from contracting chronic diseases such as obesity, marasmus among other diseases brought by poor diet. This diet is however focused more on proteins that need to be eliminated from it to prevent such diseases from attacking the consumer.

Environment

Environmental factors might influence the kind of food and diet one takes. One could be influenced by the kind of work they do and the culture. Some nutritional environment can influence the choice of dietary intake of an individual. This kind of diet could be influenced by the kind of work the consumer takes or the health requirement. Moreover, I try to maintain my breakfast really plain, which provides a very little amount of carbohydrates. I also try to not eat junk food and bring home cooked meals to work and school.

Plan to Meet Nutritional Deficiencies

Every person is supposed to ensure that the kind of diet they adapt works best for the development of their physical health (Hu, 2012). The diet should contain a balanced nutrition which is very essential in general body development. In my case, the food taken every morning should be changed in at least every three days.

The other thing that I will do is to include vegetables and fruits in every meal during lunch and dinner. Vegetables and fruits are very essential in the provision of important nutrients and vitamins which will aid in body development and improved immunity. This will lead to increased vitamins in the weekly diet. These vegetables could be supplemented with other carbohydrates foods and be taken on lunchtime or during dinner instead of taking protein-rich food during lunch and also during dinner. I also plan to introduce water in every meal from breakfast to dinner. Water is very important in the diet as it helps in various functions of the body including digestion and regulation of body temperature. I will also ensure that foods rich in kilocalories and sugars have been included in the meals on specific days.

Choose one of Erikson’s Psychosocial Stages. Think about the approximate ages of patients at each stage and the complete physical assessment for your chosen stage. How will you conduct the assessment? What psychosocial developments do you need to keep in mind? What additional testing and screenings will you need to perform? Discuss two abnormalities found in the age group. Finally, discuss how you have been successful assessing patients in this psychosocial stage. Then, choose a classmate who has discussed a different stage and reply to him or her, discussing the similarities and differences between the stage you choose and the stage he or she choose. How will those similarities and differences impact your assessment?

Your initial posting should be 200 to 300 words in length and utilize at least one scholarly source other than the textbook.
