Client Pitch Presentation

Select a current product (not an industry and not a group of products or you will get no credit for the assignment) with which you are familiar, and pitch a new Integrated Marketing Communications Plan (IMC) to your client who is the marketer/producer of the product. Do not pick a company like Disney or Coca-Cola or Pepsico that are superb marketers. Picking a company like that will mean you cannot complete each element of this assignment.

You must 1) Review what the marketing communications mix is currently and report on your findings. Be sure to show some of the materials and messages, 2) Evaluate the effectiveness of the existing marketing communications mix, aspects of the 4 Ps, and then 3) Come up with a new communications/marketing mix strategy for the product based on the weaknesses you found and recommend the changes to “your client” in this presentation, and 4) Identify the product’s current positioning strategy and discuss whether or not to change that strategy based upon your recommendations. If a change in the positioning strategy is warranted, please offer a new one. Be sure you have justification for your recommendations.

If you cannot find what the company/brand does for the product, pick another one! Be sure to find marketing collateral and/or ads or commercials to demonstrate your analysis. Include them as links and discuss your analysis of them.]

As usualy, demonstrste your marketing/marketing management learning by defining and discussing the relevance of terms and concepts with supporting expert opinion or comments.

Create a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation of 8 to 10 slides that includes the following components:

  • Identifies any considerations you will need to employ to build and maintain the brand and customer loyalty.
  • Evaluate the target audience’s use of and belief in the communications sources
  • Separately, create a print ad or a video broadcast for the product featuring your new strategy (Youtube TM, video, or PowerPoint storyboard is acceptable). This is not part of the 8 to 10 slides referenced above. If you create a YouTube video, be sure to release it for viewing by others.

Be sure you include citations (in the Notes Section will be fine) and a References Page properly formatted in font that is legible. Use Notes pages to explain slides.

Please just bid if your know what are you doing !!!!! i will check your work before i release the money . And Don’t buy anything from internet!!!!!! i will know.

The Necklace by Guy de Maupassant or The Lottery by Shirley Jackson

Select a work from our course readings this semester. Read it thoroughly. Then, either online through Google or Google Scholar, in the physical library, do research to find an article that analyzes the work you chose. Do not choose a Sparksnotes/Shmoop/etc. type of website or article. Yes, those are geared towards students, but I want you to find an authors individual analysis, not an explanation of what youre expected to know for an English class. This may take some digging. You may end up finding a book chapter, a journal article, or a thoughtful blog post to discuss. If you are at a complete loss, please tell me well before the due date. I may be able to help point you in the right direction.

After selecting your article, read and annotate it. You should understand the authors main points about the text.

Now youre ready to begin drafting. The paper should contain the following components:

An introduction, summary, and explanation of the work you chose from our text
Your analysis of the work you chose from our course Does the author use literary devices, like foreshadowing or metaphor? How and where? You might discuss the setting or the characters, or whether or not the text is mimetic or didactic. Is there any historical significance to the text? Was there an event going on that impacted the text or the author in some way? Etc.
An introduction, summary, and an explanation of the article you found
Connect the article to the text and give your opinion on its validity. Is the author completely off the mark or accurate in their analysis? Why or why not?

This essay should be 6-8 pages overall including your Works Cited page. Your assignment should be in MLA format, double-spaced, and in 12 point Times New Roman font.

Whenever you quote, paraphrase, or summarize, you will use in-text citations to indicate the source. Additionally, I expect you to include a Works Cited page at the end of the essay where you will cite the work from our course as well as the article you locate, whether you found it online or elsewhere.

You can choose The Lottery or The Necklace for the course reading for this paper.

Infancy Interview

Infancy InterviewInstructions

Interview someone who has recently (ideally within the last five years) had a baby. Alternatively, you could interview someone who works closely with babies, such as a daycare employee. Following is a list of some questions, but feel free to add in some of your own!

  • What were the first few days after birth like? What kind of changes happened with you and the baby?
  • What kind of reflexes did you notice in first few days, weeks, and months?
  • Tell me about some of the biggest physical milestones in your baby’s first year of life.
  • How did your baby’s emotional development change throughout the first year?
  • How did you cope and adjust with those emotional changes?
  • What were some of your baby’s biggest intellectual gains in the first few months?
  • How did your baby’s intellectual development progress throughout the first year?

Make sure to keep notes of your interview (transcript), which you will submit as an attachment to your assignment.

Now that you have your “data” in hand, you will write a 2-page paper that includes a summary of your findings and a reflection, where you will connect your data to the course material. Try to paint an accurate and vivid picture of what the infant’s first year was like. It’s a good idea to include direct quotes from the interviewee as appropriate. Connect and relate your findings to material from the unit readings. Be sure to cite your sources, both with in-text citations and a reference page at the end of your paper (in APA format).

  • What were the first few days after birth like? What kind of changes happened with you and the baby?
  • During the day, it was very exciting to have this new person (baby) come into our family. You feel full of joy and happiness, kissing, feeding, and cuddling the baby, but at night, when everyone went to sleep and you are alone with the baby, it felt lonely. I was breastfeeding so I felt very tired a lot. Baby wanted to eat day and night, every two hours. Still physically, I was happy that the baby was out because by the end of pregnancy there was some discomfort like swelling and numbness in fingers. Once the baby came out, most of discomfort went away. The baby changed quickly from eating and sleeping to staying awake and wanting to interact more each day. That was very nice.
  • What kind of reflexes did you notice in first few days, weeks, and months?
  • When she was just born she would always get startled when the door would close suddenly. She had a very distinct palmar reflex at around 4 months when she could hold a rattle without using her thumb. And now when she eats she uses her index finger and thumb to pick blueberries from the plate.

Tell me about some of the biggest physical milestones in your baby’s first year of life.

Susie is walking with a toy walker at 9 months. Her older sister did the same at 11 months. This is really exciting.

How did your baby’s emotional development change throughout the first year?

She reacts more to people she knows. Smiles and laughs when she sees parents, sister, and grandparents. She makes loud happy noises. She really understands when we try to do funny stuff. She laughs. She dances to the music.  She does want to be held more so she can see what goes on from above. She gets upset if we don’t pick her up.

  • How did you cope and adjust with those emotional changes?
  • We (husband and I) just pick her up. She will be little only for so long.

What were some of your baby’s biggest intellectual gains in the first few months?

  • She would not eat from a bottle staring at 2 months. I thought it was very smart of her to understand the difference between breast and plastic bottle. She had a preference even though she is just a baby. She would not eat (protest) until she got the breast. She would go hungry until she had what she wanted. She learned how to burp herself by leaning forward when she sits. She will do it several times until the burp comes out.
  • How did your baby’s intellectual development progress throughout the first year?
  • She speaks words at 8 month, “mama, baba, papa.” She waives her hand when I waive at her and say “Hi.” Pediatrician said she’s doing great.
