The Articles of Confederation and the Constitution reflected different visions of governance in
the new United States. In an essay, describe the powers of the states and national government
under the Articles of Confederation. Analyze the problems that national leaders perceived with
governance under the Articles of Confederation that spurred the drafting of a new constitution
and how the Constitution endowed the national government with the tools of coercion and the
continuing ability to replenish its right to rule.
You  should provide appropriate citations to your sources. If this is the assigned text,
