HR professionals have the opportunity to serve as successful change agents in many parts of life, especially when they recognize that sustainable change requires collaboration among a variety of stakeholders.  In this paper, you will identify your strengths and areas for improvement as a collaborative partner in making a change and discuss how those strengths and concerns might impact your success as a change agent.

Select a change effort with which you are currently involved.
Describe the situation.
Describe an appropriate OD theory or model that applies to this situation.
Identify the stakeholders and challenges.
How do your personal biases and self-concept affect your role and ability to influence successful change in this community (i.e., work, volunteer setting, etc)?
Using Wilders Collaboration Factors Inventory, (Links to an external site.) complete the personal inventory with your change effort in mind.  Address the following questions:

How collaborative are you in this particular situation?
Can you predict your current likelihood of success?
Which areas of the inventory were identified as strengths?
Which areas were identified as concerns?
What can you do to increase your likelihood of success? How might you incorporate mindfulness, dialogue, and collaboration?
Describe how you can overcome the challenges identified in the Wilder Inventory.
Mechanics: This assignment is to be submitted as an academic essay of 5- 7 pages with appropriate APA references and in-text citations. Add a title page, an introduction, a conclusion, and a reference page. Be sure to clearly cite your sources in APA style from course readings and additional research, and answer all questions.

Organ systems

Write a 1-2 page  (double spaced, size 11-12 point font, 1 in margins) paper on the interconnectedness seen between the 11 organ systems of the body. This should be no less than 11 paragraphs (at least one for each organ system and give at least 3 examples of how each organ system integrates with other organ systems.)

The Lighthouse

The assignment is designed to sharpen and assess your skills when it comes to analyzing professional lighting set-ups and reverse engineering those lighting designs. Your work throughout the course should prepare you for this task.

Choose two scenes (one day, one night) from one of the six films assigned in class. You must choose scenes that have not been covered in depth in lecture materials/slides.* The Film that I’ve chosen is called ” The Lighthouse”*.

A) Write a 4-page (12pt font, dbl spaced) analysis of the lighting in the two scenes (2 pgs per scene). Address the following in detail: motivation, direction, quality, color, contrast, and mood. How many set-ups are there? Be sure to address every light source in the scene, understanding that lights are typically moved or adjusted for different set-ups. How do these scenes fit into the broader lighting approach of the film? Is there anything particularly distinctive about the lighting in the scenes? Be as detailed as possible. If you need to attach annotated stills to help clarify your analysis, feel free to do so.

B) In addition to your written analyses, you should draw a detailed overhead lighting diagram for each of your two scenes. Include character position & movement, basic architectural layout, and, most importantly, where you think specific lights are in the space. Make your best guess about the placement of these lights based on what you can observe in the finished film.
