First going trough the archievements genomic science has made since 2000, and how sequencing became more cheaper and accesible, and also how the actual issue is interpretate the data (you can go through biostatistic and big data, things like that). [Do not extend on this, a little look into the topic is just fine]
Then i’d like to talk about how world might change soon, when sequencing became even more accesible, to the lay person level.
Finaly, it may be intersting to talk about how genomics is just a piece in the ultimate understanding of biological organisms and networks, and how other newly innovative fields (as epigenetics, transcriptomics and proteomics) could help us to finally understand the organisms.
