The article that I have chosen for the purposes of this assignment deals with looking at companies that do not have a formal organizational power structure. While having too much organizational power can be put the employees under pressure and make them feel restrictive the opposite can also have bad consequences. In fact, the industries with the least in the way of formal rules and regulations are often rife with sexual harassment (Spicer, 2018). In the article, the author mentions that companies that have little to no organizational power structures can often be rife with politics and a high school-like atmosphere where goals are abandoned and selfishness reigns. The author goes as far as two say that the military misadventures of the early 21st century were often due to the passion and enthusiasm of elected officials trumping the formal rules and expertise offered by civil servants and military personnel (Spicer, 2018).
An organization cannot be without rules otherwise he argues there wise there will a jungle-like atmosphere with no one to reign in the employees. The author looks at the company Valve and mentions how their ‘no boss’ approach cannot be deemed as a success by any measure. He comes to this conclusion by looking at reviews about the valve on Glassdoor. He also provides commentary from experts who argue that this ‘no boss’ structure is flawed.  The author concludes by saying that having no organizational power structures will be worse than having a restrictive power structure. 
My Two Recommendations:
1. Have managers and power structures but don’t make it too restrictive, rules should be discussed with employees so that they feel ownership of the working environment present at the company.
2. Allow space for employees to provide suggestions on how to increase productivity. Allow employees to air concerns without fearing retribution. Try to build more of an equal relationship while at the same time enforcing rules and regulations.

The tax system of America in a way is fair because you pay taxes based on your income and the money you pay benefits you and others. It’s also not fair because some of the money you pay goes to fundings that are already overly funded. For example, the military, I’m not saying funding the military is bad but do we really have to fund them billions of dollars every year. Some of that money could’ve gone to education or those who are in poverty. I believe the rich pay way less than the average worker because becoming wealthy gives you many loopholes and deductions on paying taxes. And by owning business, you can also get tax deductions and gain more profits. Increasing the tax rate on the rich won’t really do any direct damage because when you increase marginal tax rates, the lobbying gets more powerful for the favored parties.
