Prior the arrest protests sprung up in Minneapolis and then spread around the country. Many of these protests have turned into riots that have resulted in violence against other protestors, the police, significant looting and property damage. Cities have instituted curfews and the National Guard has been deployed in many cities. The United States is struggling through this time with questions about race, justice, policing, police brutality, and how to change the criminal justice system. People are exasperated with what happened to Mr. Floyd but about perceived injustices involving the police. Tension is high all across America. People are concerned about the possibility of significant violence and property destruction escalating, as well as increasing the racial and class divides in the country.

You are the President of the United States. Americans need a leader. They need someone to map out a plan to address the issues above. You need to write up to a three page Oval Office address to the country.
