The nonrenewable resources that are in the risk of depletion; include coal, oil, and natural gases. Coal is the solid form of the three fossil fuels while natural gas is used for energy production, heating, and electricity of buildings and used to produce fertilizers and plastics and lastly oil currently, industries are extracting heavier crude oil in tar sands and shale because the reservoirs are drying up. A study carried out by BBC in 2014, showed that the world would is likely to run out of oil in 40 years, gas will deplete in 50 years and lastly, coal will be depleted in 250 years.
