Shakespeare play Twelfth Night. It needs to be a narrow topic such as the role of the fool or the relationships.

Please choose a topic within the purview of our course that particularly interests you. You may choose any play or a combination of plays, scenes, characters, productions, etc. Inside the paper, you will have six in text quotations. Three of these quotations MUST be from the play itself. Three of these quotations must be from outside, scholarly sources.  Thus, your paper will have a Works Cited page with at least four entries. (1 entry for the play, 3 separate entries for the 3 separate, outside sources.)
This paper might involve your Class Presentation insofar as you might choose a soliloquy from the play you examine  to memorize or you might choose a character from the play you examine  to reinterpret using costume, makeup, etc.

This resource shows you each play and then shows you how many papers have quoted from particular lines in the play. Its an amazing resource.
Your essay should be 4-7 pages. Thus, your thesis must be very narrow.
