Find a bill that is being discussed in the state or national legislature (2020 either house). Here are some places you could look. You could also look in a newspaper to choose one, then find the bill at one of these sites.

Think about who might want it to pass. Think about what might happen if it’s passed. Decide what your opinion is about it.

Write a 2-3 page typed letter to a relevant public figure in favor or against it’s passage, giving reasons for your stance. Submit it online when due (April 2nd).

Compose a well-constructed essay of a minimum of no more than four pages (the Works Cited page does not count as one page)

Do not summarize the story at any point; I want you to do an analysis:

1) Vietnam has a history of colonialism, war, and political upheaval. Do you think Duong Thu Huong supports or rejects the communist rgimes programs of political indoctrination and war as presented in Novel Without a Name? Give at least two examples to support your response.
