To what extent do the comic books that we read (and movie we watched) reflect social and cultural issues?
Based on a careful examination of the readings and an analysis of how these readings fit together,
you are to create an original argument reflecting your stance on the bolded question below. There is
no reason to do any research for this paper—completely concentrate on analyzing the course
readings and the connections between them. There is no “right” answer to this question. Better
answers are ones that articulate a clear argument, use sound logic and marshal evidence from the
sources we’ve read to make this argument, and are well written and organized to get across your
points. Worse answers are ones that do not do these things.
