MAJOR SUPPORT 3
*Appetite -: Decreasing sense of taste,Loss of interest and Nicotine.
 Disease
Lung Cancer-; I once had a patient that has a stage four lung cancer because of smoking..
Heart disease;- because it damage the cells that line coronary arteries and other blood vessel.
Blood flow-;This also increases blood pressure and heart rate

  Immune System
.   Fighting off infection;- in smoking takes time response because the white blood cells help fight disease that get into the body.
Dry skin;- Cigarette displaces the oxygen in the skin and nutrients including vitamin C.
Aging;- as a result of smoking this damage speeds up skin aging, making people to have wrinkles.
  Appetite
Decreasing the sense of taste;-Smokers are twice more likely to suffer from a reduced sense of smell because smells contribute to our enjoyment of desire,
Loss of interest;- Smoking further limiting ones interest in a lot of activities, you can only think of when to smoke.
Nicotine;-Nicotine makes the pancreas produce less insulin, causing a slight increase in the blood sugar. As a result of suppressed appetite i have seen my resident leaving his food on his table not eating. Breakfast and launch tray will be left on bedside table.

SPORTS MANAGEMENT

Be sure to have read the resources in “lessons” before starting this forum and then read and review the journal article, “Green Sports Facilities Are Becoming The Gold Standard, by Robert A. Darwell and Huv Q. Nguyen, in the Sports Litigation Alert Archives (July 2, 2010) in your APUS Online Library.

“Sustainability is a comprehensive philosophy in which a variety of environmentally friendly materials and procedures are utilized to help reduce energy expenditures.” Over the last decade many individuals and organizations, including the sports industry, have adopted this philosophy. Many of the new and renovated stadiums are considered “green facilities”. Please review the journal below, the resources in “lessons” and the Internet to complete this assignment: You are the facility manager of a sports facility of your choice. Upper management has asked for you to come up with future plans to renovate or rebuild your facility making it a green facility. Come up with 8-10 ways to make your facility green and your reasoning behind each one. Use your imagination, money is no object! Create your presentation using PowerPoint and be sure to include graphics to support and enhance your presentation.

Your Powerpoint Presentation must have at least 10 slides. Your title slide and your reference slide do not count towards the 10-slide minimum.
