Over the past five weeks, you have use the Stellarium planetarium software to plan an observation, examine a number of celestial objects, and test astronomical hypotheses for yourself. In a 1-2 page length paper in APA format, please reflect on the past work you have done and answer the following questions:

  • How did the previous laboratory exercises help you to understand the scientific method and how astronomy uses observations to test hypotheses and theories?
  • Which of the five activities did you find to be the most interesting or educational?
  • Did you find the Stellarium program easy or difficult to use? What would you recommend to the programmer of Stellarium to make any changes or add any additional features?
  • If you had to use Stellarium to devise your own new laboratory exercise, what aspect of the program would you use? What astronomical objects would you focus on?

Operating Systems Simulation In C++ Help!

I’m supposed to read an input .txt file that contains the processes and instructions that I have to simulate. I know how to read the input file using a Linux terminal, as per one of the requirements.

But after I read my input file, I don’t know what the best way to store the processes, create a process table, and how to sort my processes and instructions so that they execute chronologically!

Choose two topics of your choice to compare and contrast. You are not required to do any research for this essay, so this assignment encourages you to pick topics you know about so that you can use your own knowledge to build the content of the essay. Not researching the topic and using your own knowledge makes this an opinion piece. Below, there will be some examples of compare and contrast topics, but you may pick your own. 

Be sure that your essay has an Introduction that has the four points listed in the lecture notes: Topic, Attention Grabber, Thesis, and Signposting. (Note, if you decide to write the essay inductively by not having the thesis in the introduction but in the conclusion, that is acceptable, so in place of the thesis in the introduction, you may ask a question and/or explain the purpose of the essay).
The essay needs to be at least two full pages (no more than three) following the MLA formatting guidelines of 1-inch margins, double spacing between lines with no extra spacing, Times New Roman,  12 point type.
