PSYCHOTHERAPIES : After completing the reading assignments for Psychotherapies, students are to choose one the following therapies which they will focus on through out the rest of the curriculum: Brief Solution Based, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Interpersonal  or Motivational Interviewing. In addition to the resources from course textbooks, search the literature for additional resources about the therapy chosen. Be sure to also include the most recent scholarly literature (no general websites, blogs, YouTube, Wikipedia). Based on these resources students are to write a brief paper not to exceed 4-5 pages (this does not include the title page or the reference page) addressing the following:

Overview history of the development of the therapy (you may have to use an older reference source for this).
A summary of your understanding of the theory in your own words. (This is to demonstrate your synthesis of the knowledge and understanding about the theory.)
Identification of evidence-based therapeutic uses for the therapy and rationale.
Advanced practice nursing implications for utilization of this therapy.
Identify what clients this therapy is appropriate for (age, diagnoses, intellectual functioning, setting, etc.) and how you would determine this is the appropriate modality for the identified clients.
Reference list of resources used in APA format.  References should be within the last 5 years. This is not an opinion paper, support all of your ideas with sources.

Large companies have been using the power of business analytics for quite a while now. Your company desires to get in on the action; company executives believe that using advanced data analysis will enable the company to make smarter decisions and improve business performance. Business analytics gives companies the ability to look at past realizations and performance as well as set up new expectations and performance goals. Analytics-as-a-Service is a new delivery model that uses cloud technology to provide business insights without enormous infrastructure enhancements. The executive team has heard great things about analytics and cloud technology but is apprehensive because they are unfamiliar with the look and feel of the technology. The executive team is interested in your recommendations and eagerly awaiting your forward-thinking viewpoint.

Section 1: Design Document

Write a four to six (4-6) page design document in which you:     
Support the need for the use of analytics and cloud technology within this company.
Create a workflow diagram to illustrate how analytics and cloud technology could align with the companys business processes. Note: The graphically depicted solution is not included in the required page length but must be included in the design document appendix.
Create three to five (3-5) screen layouts that illustrate the interface that organizational users will utilize. Note: The graphically depicted solution is not included in the required page length but must be included in the design document appendix.
Give one (1) recommendation for solution providers that could help your company secure a firm advantage by using analytics and cloud technology.

The privacy and security provisions of HIPAA are complex.  HIPAA allows states to establish stricter standards than those in HIPAA, but not less strict versions.

For this assignment, research two real-life examples of HIPAA violations of privacy or security laws that occurred in the U.S. since the passage of the HIPAA law (after 1996). Each violation described should be serious, and one that resulted in a fine or penalty for the individual or company involved. You can find real-life examples of HIPAA violations in news reports, medical journals, professional health care publications, and other similar reliable factual sources

For each example violation, include the following information:

1. A complete, descriptive summary of the case:

How did the HIPAA violation occur?
What policies, if any, did the organization have in place to protect against the violation?

Discuss Du Bois 1903 prophecy about the color-line in America = was he correct? By 1920, like many Black activist who were horrified and dispirited by the Chicago race riots of 1919 and the Tulsa Massacre of 1920, Du Bois penned a scathing essay The Souls of White Folk (see excerpt) was the essay another warning (although implied)? Du Bois was one of the first sociologists to recognize that race was socially constructed and that there did not exist racially biological traits as white sociologists (Park and Odin) believed. Discuss what we now acknowledge as white privilege as a false racial advantage for working-class whites as pointed out by Du Bois in 1920. Was his assessment of 1920 still true in 2020? Explain.
