About Your Signature Assignment

This signature assignment is designed to align with specific program student learning outcome(s) in your program. Program Student Learning Outcomes are broad statements that describe what students should know and be able to do upon completion of their degree. The signature assignments may be graded with an automated rubric that allows the University to collect data that can be aggregated across a location or college/school and used for program improvements. 

Purpose of Assignment 

The purpose of this assignment is for students to demonstrate mastery of operations management concepts and tools. 

Assignment Steps

Develop a 700- to 1,050-word memo to a prospective employer outlining your credentials, including: taking this class, all of the projects you have done for this class individually and with your team, and their impact on the businesses you have engaged with so a senior manager reading it would want to hire you as either an operations consultant or permanent employee. 

Summarize the business case for each project. 

Outline what you specifically accomplished, assuming these projects were implemented, and their estimated impacts on the business. 

Utilize the learnings from Week 6 to highlight your skills in global sourcing, procurement, and outsourcing which can also be of benefit to your target firm. 

Format your assignment as if you would be giving a presentation to senior management.

Structure for each of the sessions
A. A description of two tools for your group members to complete at the beginning and at the end of B. your group to evaluate the effectiveness of the group experience. You must develop these tools yourself.
C. Any other tools and resources used during these sessions
As a group leader, how would you lead the initial stage of your group?
D. Identify ways in which you might facilitate trust in your group. How would you know that trust has been established among your group members?
E. Identify one role you have as group leader during this phase of group development. How would you approach and implement this role?
Draft a tool for your group members to complete at the beginning and at the end of your group to evaluate the effectiveness of the group experience. You must develop this tool yourself. Final Stage. Include a description of the tool and how you will present it in one of the sessions in this paper, with the tool itself as an appendix.

Transition Stage
A. Structure for each of the sessions
B. Any tools and resources used during these sessions
C. Identify how, as the group leader, you would both recognize and address conflict within your group.
D. Discuss how you might handle reluctance in the group. Identify specific interventions and strategies you could employ.
E. Corey identifies several guidelines for effectively dealing with challenging clients in a group. Identify one element of these guidelines and consider a specific type of challenging client. How could you use this guideline in your group when dealing with a challenging client?

Working Stage
A. Structure for each of the sessions
B. Any tools and resources used during these sessions
C. Identify how you, as a group leader, would recognize and identify characteristics of the working stage within your group.
D. Discuss some interventions you, as the group leader, might employ during the working phase of the group process.
E. Corey identifies several therapeutic factors of the group. Discuss one of these characteristics and what processes in your group would illustrate it.

Final Stage
Structure for each of the sessions
A. Any tools and resources used during these sessions.
B. How would you effectively terminate therapy with your group?
C. What are some interventions you might employ during termination? Address some functions or problems that group members might encounter and some functions or obstacles you as group leader might encounter. How would you address these issues for members and for yourself?
How will you evaluate your group? What type of follow-up will you provide to group members?
D. Draft a tool for your group members to complete at the beginning and at the end of your group to evaluate the effectiveness of the group experience. You must develop this tool yourself. Include a description of the tool and how you will present it in one of the sessions in your paper, with the tool itself as an appendix. (This is the second required tool for the manual.)

Include the following:

  • Research and discuss how economic fluctuations affect the sale of the iPhone 6 plus.
  • Discuss what type of unemployment would result if the economies of the United States and China began to contract and why.
  • Identify  the four causes of unemployment and state whether or not any of the  causes of unemployment affect the market of the iPhone 6 plus. 
  • Describe how unexpected inflation in the United States would affect the sale of the iPhone 6 plus.

Your paper should include:

  • Title page
  • Introductory paragraph that previews topics to be discussed in      your paper
  • Each of the four topics must be at least 2 or more sentences  (sentences should read paragraphs) in length, a      paragraph should be  at least 4 or more full complete sentences in length
