Comparative Analysis

The time has come to submit your final and complete Humanities Project paper. As a reminder, the requirements for this paper are listed below.

This paper should be written in traditional research paper format, should include two figures from the Humanities (one from the past and one figure from the present, or a completely different era from the other), and should compare and contrast their achievements.

  1. Original research paper that is a minimum of 4-5 pages in length, double-spaced, 12 point, with a standard font. In general, pages consist of:

Title Page – Captivating title, your name, title of the course, date.

Body – 4-5 pages in length. Follow this rough outline:

  • Introduction – introduce subjects – (Remember you are comparing and contrasting two figures from different eras) Bring focus to your study through thesis statement.
  • First Point coming out of thesis statement
    • Support #1 from research
    • Support #2 from research
    • Personal observation
    • Etc.
  • Second Point coming out of thesis statement
    • Support #1 from research
    • Support #2 from research
    • Personal opinion
    • Etc.
  • Third Point (if needed) coming out of thesis statement
    • Support #1 from research
    • Support #2 from research
    • Personal opinion
    • Etc.
  • Conclusion – Reiterate (do not simply restate) your thesis. Remember to mention both subjects here and close with a striking point.

References Cited page – in APA format.

  1. Follow APA format for the paper and for citing your sources. APA guidelines are available through the Online Library.
  2. Proper mechanics (clear, concise, and complete sentences and paragraphs), proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  3. Four to five sources for the paper from your research. Please use one or two sources as available from your college’s Online Library. For assistance on researching in the library, see the Resources tab. Internet resources should be from credible sources.
  4. Use statements and ideas that are your own writing and blend these in with your research. If you want to use actual words from a source, put them in quotation marks followed by an in-text citation showing that particular source.

Module 8Maternal GroupB Discussion

Discussion A
Missy is 3 years old. She enjoys being with mom and grandma in the kitchen. She pulls a chair close to the stove, climbs on the chair and looks inside the pot of boiling water. The steam is hot on her face, she steps back and as she falls off the chair, the boiling water is pulled down on her. Missy is rushed to the emergency department. Grandma has put some butter on her fingers, but her face was not treated.
Review the Rule of Nines found on page 1021.
In the ED, the nurse discovers that her hands, face, chest and arms are burned. The Dr. believes it to be a partial thickness burn, but notes her hands are blistered and very edematous.
Provide nursing care to this young patient that is complaining of pain, crying, and uncooperative. Educate the mother and grandmother on the extent of the burn and the on-going care that will be needed.
Include medication you may wish to request from the physician and the dosage.Group B Response
After several days the doctor begins discussing grafting of the hands and face. Can you educate the parents on the care the child will need. What is the home care situation for this child? Please also discuss long term issues, physical, emotional, how will she relate to peers?

Discussion B
Due to a fall from a second story townhouse, Jimmy sustained a fractured left femur and a mild head injury. Jimmy is 10 years old. He was reaching for a ball that had gotten lodged into the gutter over the small balcony of his parent’s bedroom. He thought if he stood on the railing and reached with the badminton racket he could get it.
Currently he is 2 days postoperative from repair of the left femur. He is being transferred out of the pediatric ICU where the Neurologist has stated he is stable but needs continued neuro checks q2 hours. He has a full left leg cast. The Foley catheter is to be replaced today, or he can attempt to roll onto a bedpan if needed.
Please list the systems that are affected by this boy’s injuries.
List the nursing interventions now that he is on your nursing unit.
Start a list of nursing diagnosis match the system you are presenting.Group A Response
Please add the interdisciplinary team that needs to attend to this boy’s health care needs. Plan home care if appropriate. And continue the list of nursing diagnosis.

Please Respond to Group B include intext citation 3-4 references. 1-1.5pages

As described  in the lecture notes and supporting OERs, the RSA public-key algorithm depends on the difficulty that an attacker would have in factoring large numbers.

Do some research into how numbers are factored, and what the computing time might be. Be sure to show the reference(s) that you have used.

See attached to help do the work.

Discussion-02

Chapter 3 discusses methods to assess the quality of simulations. You learned about three different views of simulation quality.

Suppose you lead a task force that is developing a simulation to provide strategic planning recommendations for property use zoning for a county of 750,000 residents. The zoning board and county commissioners want a simulation that allows them to assess the impact of various zoning decisions based on a variety of dynamic factors, including age, race, education, and income status. Which of the three views discussed would provide the best quality assessment for this type of simulation? How would you ensure the highest level of accuracy with you simulation, and how would you go about determining accuracy?

You must do the following:

1) Create a new thread. As indicated above, identify which of the three views discussed in the chapter that would provide the best quality assessment for the situation described above, and explain your decision. How would you ensure the highest level of accuracy with your simulation, and how would you go about determining accuracy?

2) Select AT LEAST 3 other students’ threads and post substantive comments on those threads. Your comments should extend the conversation started with the thread.
