Please make sure I am not missing the theme for this SOP, below read what The university is requesting. Also if you can give me feedback for a future paper that would be great. Check my grammar, punctuation, and make the long sentence short, so it can be easy to read. 

Statement of purpose:

All applicants are required to submit an essay of approximately 500 words that answers one of the two questions below:

State your purpose in undertaking graduate study at the Elliott School. As part of your statement of purpose, describe your academic and research interests, career objectives, how a degree from the Elliott School will enable you to achieve your goals, and what unique skills, talents and/or perspectives you will bring to your program. Please be specific.

American Colonies

Part1: There are many significant individuals who helped establish several different colonies in early America. Choose one (1) of these individuals and give a brief summary of their importance to the early colonies AND share your opinion/impression of them (WHY did you select that individual). Be sure to choose someone from the textbook (not Wikipedia) and cite the page(s) from which you got information. (CHAPTERS 2-5)

Review the health policy you identified and reflect on the background and development of this health policy.
