Laboratory. Lab panels are used frequently in medicine. Find the lab panels and provide those codes in your response. Think and comment about this question. Why do you think the AMA created lab panels? When you comment on fellow students’ posts, do you agree with their posts and why or why not?

Question B

Radiology. Some radiology codes include the phrase “with contrast”, “without contrast” and “without contrast followed by contrast” What is contrast and What purpose does contrast serve? What should a radiologist take into consideration when he/she decides to use contrast? Give examples of CPT code with the words “with contrast”, without contrast” and “without contrast followed by contrast”. When you comment on fellow students’ posts, are their examples sound? Why or why not, and if not, explain.

I feel it is only appropriate to offer to pray with or for victims of disasters.

I feel it is only appropriate to offer to pray with or for victims of disasters. Some people who were spiritually in doubt or anger may not want it at the time it is offered but may later as healing begins. Every one has their own way of dealing with trauma and in time those ways may change. No ones healing process is the same or requires the same amount of time to achieve.

I have cried so many times with my patients and families that i can not count them. I believe that this helps them understand that we are human and truly care. I have heard many times that people feel medical professionals have no feels or care about what happens to them. When someone has lost a loved one and comes to view their body before going to the morgue, seeing the last person who provided care to the patient crying provides comfort. Even when i tried not to cry, looking into the watery eyes of people expressing their emotional lost or fear always makes me cry. Im such a baby 🙂

I agree with u sometimes patients think only practice only there religion and faith ,so lack of education may cause nurses or other health care providers to be uncomfortable when assessing their clients and providing spiritual care. They may also worry about inappropriateness of addressing spiritual needs, hold the belief that spirituality is synonymous with religion; they may also have difficulty separating the client’s spiritual dimension from their psychosocial dimension. There are a vast number of health care professionals that believe that the spiritual care of the patient or client is the domain of the chaplain, priest, imam, rabbi, or other trained clergy person. It is true that the fore mentioned individuals certainly do provide spiritual care, however, it is not exclusively their domain. The nurse, who provides bedside physical care has also the right and responsibility to provide spiritual care. He or she cares for the whole person, mind, body, and spirit.
