It is important to analyze how our biases and assumptions influence our assessment of individuals and to analyze and understand psychological profiling in law enforcement. Teams that function effectively have determined how to work  synergistically, communicate clearly, and address conflict. There are  two types of dysfunction: emotional conflict and task conflict.
