Describe available preventive services that providers might recommend for patients at risk of the type of cancer you selected.

The American Cancer Society estimates that by the end of 2012, more than 226,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 241,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer (American Cancer Society, 2012a; American Cancer Society 2012b). With such prevalence of women’s and men’s cancers, patient education and preventive services are essential. In clinical settings, advanced practice nurses must assist physicians in educating patients on risk factors, preventive services, and for patients diagnosed with cancer, on potential drug treatments. The clinical implications of women’s and men’s cancer greatly depend on early detection, which is primarily achieved through preventive services. In this Assignment, you consider the short-term and long-term implications of cancer and drug treatments associated with women’s and men’s health, as well as appropriate preventive services.

To prepare:

Select a type of cancer associated with women’s or men’s health such as breast, cervical, or ovarian cancer in women and prostate cancer in men.

Locate and review articles examining the type of cancer you selected.

Review the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force article in the Learning Resources. Think about available preventive services that providers might recommend for patients at risk of this type of cancer.

Select two of the following factors: genetics, gender, ethnicity, age, or behavior. Reflect on how these factors might impact decisions related to preventive services.

Consider drug treatment options for patients diagnosed with the type of cancer you selected including short-term and long-term implications of the treatments.

To complete:

Write a 2- to 3- page paper that addresses the following:

Describe available preventive services that providers might recommend for patients at risk of the type of cancer you selected.

Explain how the factors you selected might impact decisions related to preventive services.

Describe drug treatment options for patients diagnosed with the type of cancer you selected. Explain the short-term and long-term implications of these treatments.

Please write a discussion chapter (5) of 4000 words for the finding you would make in chapter .

You need to complete the report and as follows

1- write the results and analysis chapter (4) of 2000 words, please do or manipulate the results from the questionnaire by yourself by faking them and produce charts and tables if possible.

2- Please write a discussion chapter (5) of 4000 words for the finding you would make in chapter .

3- Please complete writing chapter 1 attached, the introduction (please add 950 words and write in red). This chapter should include the research context, aim and objectives, the methodology, restraints/limitations and the structure of the dissertation.

4- Please write a final chapter (6) of 1000 words which includes the findings, conclusions and recommendations of the research.

5- Write 250 words abstract and 50 words acknowledgment.

6- Please add a table of contents and list of tables and figures as well as appendices.

Finally, please upload each chapter after you complete it in order to follow up with the supervisor.

HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENT REGULATION IN IRELAND

HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENT REGULATION IN IRELAND

The involvement of the company in the Irish offshore in the context of the farm-in to the Spanish Point license you have just dealt with has prompted the CEO to examine opportunities in that jurisdiction more broadly.

As part of this exercise he has asked you as Chief Counsel to prepare a briefing report on regulatory issues which will be circulated to the Board.

The report should explain the approach taken by the Irish regulators to health, safety and environmental regulation generally and should include a section dealing specifically with decommissioning. The section on decommissioning should discuss any provisions in Irish law relating to cost provisions as well as regulatory arrangements for the development and implementation of a decommissioning plan or programme.

Board members are familiar with the approach taken on the UKCS and would find comparisons with this jurisdiction particularly useful.

Board members are also very aware of recent developments on the UKCS in the shape of the establishment of the Oil and Gas Authority and are keen to know if there is any prospect of a similarly potentially interventionist approach by a state regulator in Ireland.

The report should be no longer than 5,000 words including footnotes and a full bibliography.

In terms of the layout and style of the report, please follow the guidance from your report-writing class. Pay particular attention to the reading ease and readability scores which should match a Board with mix of directors with first degrees in non-law disciplines, and those who have significant industry experience only. Include the Readability report as an appendix. The report should follow typical conventions and include a Table of Contents generated by Word.

Explain whether you think the current best practices in the article you selected should be used in clinical practice.

For over 20 years, the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) study has conducted research trials to examine factors that impact risks and development of conditions that impact women such as heart disease, breast and colorectal cancer, and osteoporotic fractures in postmenopausal women. Health care providers use results from these trials to develop guidelines for delivering care to patients. In your role in clinical settings, you must be familiar with these guidelines, and you must be aware that through clinical practice, guidelines frequently evolve and change. Often, what is considered a best practice today might not be a best practice in the future. For this Assignment, you compare guidelines outlined in the WHI study to current best practices for assessing and managing conditions.

To prepare:

Review the Women’s Health Initiative article in this week’s Learning Resources. Select one disorder presented in this study.

Locate and select a research article that addresses current best practices for assessing and managing the disorder you selected. Be sure that the research article you select is from a reputable source.

Consider the similarities and differences between the best practices presented in the WHI study and the article you selected. Think about the potential impact of differences in best practices on women’s health.

Consider whether the best practices in the article you selected should be used in clinical practice.

To complete:

Write a 2- to 3-page paper that addresses the following:The National Institutes of Health (NIH) established the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) in 1991 to address the most common causes of death, disability and impaired quality of life in postmenopausal women. The WHI addressed cardiovascular disease, cancer, and osteoporosis. The WHI was a 15 year multi-million dollar endeavor, and one of the largest U.S. prevention studies of its kind. The three major components of the WHI were

a randomized controlled clinical trial of promising but unproven approaches to prevention;

an observational study to identify predictors of disease;

a study of community approaches to developing healthful behaviors.Describe the disorder you selected from the Women’s Health Initiative study.

Explain the current best practices for assessing and managing this disorder as suggested in the research article you selected.

Compare the best practices presented in the WHI study to the current best practices presented in the article. Explain how the differences in best practices might impact women’s health.

Explain whether you think the current best practices in the article you selected should be used in clinical practice. Support your position with evidence-based research.
