Evaluate the findings and conclusions as to their significance for nursing

Research Problem/Purpose State the problem clearly as it is presented in the report. Have the investigators placed the study problem within the context of existing knowledge? Will the study solve a problem relevant to nursing? State the purpose of the research. Review of the Literature Identify the concepts explored in the literature review. Were the references current? If not, what do you think the reasons are? Theoretical Framework Are the theoretical concepts defined and related to the research? Does the research draw solely on nursing theory or does it draw on theory from other disciplines? Is a theoretical framework stated in this research piece? If not, suggest one that might be suitable for the study. Variables/Hypotheses/Questions/Assumptions What are the independent and dependent variables in this study? Are the operational definitions of the variables given? If so, are they concrete and measurable? Is the research question or the hypothesis stated? What is it? Methodology What type of design (quantitative, qualitative, and type) was used in this study? Was inductive or deductive reasoning used in this study? State the sample size and study population, sampling method, and study setting. Did the investigator choose a probability or non-probability sample? State the type of reliability and the validity of the measurement tools. Were ethical considerations addressed? Data Analysis What data analysis tool was used? How were the results presented in the study? Identify at least one (1) finding. Summary/Conclusions, Implications, and Recommendations What are the strengths and limitations of the study? In terms of the findings, can the researcher generalize to other populations? Explain. Evaluate the findings and conclusions as to their significance for nursing. The body of your paper should be 4–6 double-spaced pages plus a cover page and a reference page

Write a 2000 word essay which discusses one clinical decision that you have been involved with during a Bachelor of Nursing clinical placement

Critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills are used every day in practice by Registered Nurses. The aim of this essay task is for you to apply the eight stages of the clinical reasoning cycle (Levett-Jones et al., 2010) to discuss and reflect on a clinical decision. Familiarisation with the clinical reasoning cycle will support you to provide safe quality care as a Registered Nurse. Task Instructions: Write a 2000 word essay which discusses one clinical decision that you have been involved with during a Bachelor of Nursing clinical placement, using all eight stages of the clinical reasoning cycle (Levett-Jones et al., 2010). In this essay your critical reflection on the clinical decision (stage eight) is a significant component of this task (please see weighting in marking criteria). You need to identify a different patient scenario to the one you discussed in your first essay. 1) Analyse how each stage of the clinical reasoning cycle (Levett-Jones et al., 2010) was applied to your decision. 2) In stage eight (8) critically reflect on what you have learnt from applying the clinical reasoning cycle to your chosen decision (you may choose to draw on other models of reflection). 3) In your essay discuss three relevant Registered Nurse Standards for Practice (2016).

Evaluate the implications for nursing care related to changes in the environment (natural, social and governmental) that impact the health of older people

Registered nurses work with individuals, groups and communities to improve health. One way to do this is to analyse how risks to health can be reduced during changes to natural, social and/ or governmental elements in our society. As clinical leaders, registered nurses are expected to collect information about an emerging health risk from a variety of sources and collate this information into a meaningful analysis with recommendations for a specific audience. The audience for these analyses can be the public, older people or carers of older people, or nurses working in a range of practice contexts. This aim of this assignment requires you to apply your theoretical knowledge gained from modules 1, 2 and 3.
Your poster and written justification (AN INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT) must:
1. Recommend and justify the nursing requirements for older people diagnosed with, or at risk of, complex health conditions and/or cognitive decline; and
2. Evaluate the implications for nursing care related to changes in the environment (natural, social and governmental) that impact the health of older people.

For this task you will create a poster and write a justification supporting your poster inclusions and aesthetic layout.
There are two parts to this assignment. Part 1 is a poster and  Part 2 is the written justification.
The total word allocation for this assignment is 2500 words and your written justification needs be a minimum of 1200 words. NOTE: You can decide how you allocate your word limit of 2500 words as long as your justification is no less than 1200 words.

TASK INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Before you begin preparing the poster or justification undertake the following steps:
I. Identify a specific health risk for a specific older adult population (aged over 65 years or over 55 years if Australian First Peoples);
II. Collect information about that specific health risk;
III. Develop a summary of your analysis of that information; and
IV. Identify an audience and make recommendations about risk reduction and treatment for that audience

Examine your values and beliefs in relation to those of the historical leader or theorist, any similarities in nursing metaparadigm, and implications for nursing practice How are the similar?
