RESEARCH PAPER OF THE YOUNG LORDS CIVIL AND HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATION

As this assignment is a research paper, it’s required that I heavily research the who, what, when, and why of the Young Lords organization. I need historical data that proves they used non-violent tactics to protest and what the outcomes of using non-violent tactics were(presumably positive outcomes). With that in mind, YLO sometimes used violent tactics and it’s important to note the outcomes of that as well, presumably, the outcomes of the violent tactics are much worse/frowned upon and perhaps didn’t result in the positive change they were intending.

Be sure to describe the different results they achieved when they used nonviolent methods vs violent methods to get their protests across. If possible cite heavily from the book A Force More Powerful by Peter Ackerman and Jack Duvall.
