(Please read my attached file. That is my first essay, which I chose to talk about racism in general as my research question.)
(For the second part of my essay, I would like to talk about recent hate crimes against Asian!!!) Thank you in advance. Specifically explain your research question and its sociological relevance as it relates to why you classify it as a social issue worth investigating from a macro level. From a macro level analysis present and answer your inquiry and show how the specific social issue you chose operates from a macro scale and the implications it has on society as a whole. Explain why it is important, influential, detrimental, or beneficial for various aspects of society. There is no one particular stance you must take, but you need to be specific in describing how the social issue plays out on a macro scale.

You are only allowed to use and justify your arguments or claims using empirically based academic sources. Mass media oriented sources are anecdotal and can be used as such, but they cannot be used as justification to bolster claims asserted in your paper. For that, you must use empirically based academic sources.
You must use a minimum of 3 sources and a maximum of 6. You will be graded by the following criteria:
The strength and relevance of your research inquiry as it relates to it being a social issue. The level of critical analysis you put forth in answering your question from the macro level.
How well you justify your claims with appropriate sources
Format:
2-3 pages total
Double Spaced
Use APA or MLA Citations. Pick one and stick with it throughout all 3 papers.
12-Point Font – Times New Roman
Normal Margins (1-inch)
3-6 sources per paper
Include a separate Bibliography page at the end of the paper (not counted towards the total page count)
